Multibeast: Mac Pro model choice?

Is there any reason to choose one Mac Pro model number over another? Or do you even have to pick one period?

I recommend you stick with the default MacPro3,1 when you select "User DSDT or DSDT-Free Installation" until you get your system up and running with Mountain Lion. (See page 3 of the MultiBeast Features document that comes with the MultiBeast zip file.) You can then explore more ways to optimize your system in the DSDT and SSDT forum sections.
