Hi guys,

For some reason Multibeast fails to install audio on my Hack 10.12.4
I'm trying to install ALC892 but it keeps failing during installation. I tried other versions of Multibeast and tried patching AppleHDA(while i'm not sure how to do that properly) and that gave me other issues (such as black screen).

I'm using an external audio device (Lexicon Omega) that has always worked on previous versions of OSX. The sound that i'm getting through that device is very choppy with a constant (approx.) 260 beats per minute.

I've attached a screenshot of the Multibeast log, but as far as i know it's not giving a specific error.

I hope someone is able to help me with this. :)

Cheers!

Hi Toleda,

First of all thanks for answering my question and i'm sorry for not posting in the correct way!
For some reason i had no mountable EFI partition on my Mac SSD. I did a full reinstall and i followed your instructions! The motherboard audio works, but my external sound card doesn't. Ahh wel, maybe the device is too old or something..

Anyway! i can live with that. Thanks so much for your help. you rock!!
