My Mavericks install seemed to go OK. When I try to run Multibeast, though, it says "The installation encountered an error that caused the software to fail."
This seems the same as described in an earlier thread, but that reporter resorted to a clean install and someone else who had the same trouble was told to start a new thread which he doesn't seem to have done.

Following the suggestions in that thread, I am doing a UserDSDT install, selecting a DSDT from my flash drive, not the /Extra/ folder. I'm not picking any additional drivers for now. Things seem to be generally working, other than that I have to boot from the USB.
EDIT:Might be worth mentioning that I updated from Lion, not Mountain Lion.

Hopefully someone can help me. I'll keep messing with it and if anything works I'll report back so at least there will be a record here for the next person.
