Multibeast 5.0.2 and Intel DP55WB on ML 10.8?

Hi,

i glad i could help, but i cant take all the credit.
i just picked and glue together stuff i found around here.

i hope that next week or so when 10.8.2 goes live we wont have any problems upgrading.


did any of you update to 10.8.1 ? any problems there?

I installed the update 10.8.1, went fine .... you don't have to do anything....

Hi guys

I have DP55WG with ALC889.. using Multibeast 4.6.1 the audio is enabled but there is no sound from the speakers.. of course I used ALC889 kexts instead of ALC888..
Any ideas? Thanks..

did you connect the speakers to the Microphone output?
i know it sound craze but that worked for me...

Just installed 10.8.2 and it hangs on the white screen with the apple logo (not uncommon: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-support/72956-10-8-2-problem-5.html#post453540)

My issue here is that i cant enter safe mode without legacy support in Bios, but then my keyboard and mouse won´t work in OSX, and i cannot change the kext file.

Any takers on this?

just update to 10.8.2.

the single problem was no sound.

i reinstall all the setting as i did before (see page 1) - and everything is OK now!

i didnt had any keyboard-mouse releated problems, so i cant help you there, sorry!

All right! It was exactly the same for me.. first of all thx michaelz for Microphone tip, it worked great for me
Then I installed 10.8.2 and everything was quite good, except sound. I reinstall it as i did before, and now it works really fine!
