ummm, not good for those of us with large monitors and 5780 cards. many of us cannot get the full resolution of our monitor with the experimental chameleon.

I am running a 5870 @ 1080P without any issues.

Also does this mean that Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet is now out of beta?

ATY_Init Uakari removed ? :(

For those who doesn't need a 64bit kernel and are happy with an 32bit kernel,
I still would recommend to use 'ATY_Init Uakari" for the 'Sapphire HD5870'.
The 'CineBench 11.5 OpenGL' marks are: +/- 33 FPS

When using the ATI Experimental Bootloader r700 with GraphicsEnabler=Yes
'CineBench 11.5 OpenGL' marks are +/- 27 FPS. (32- and 64-bit)

For those who have an 'ATI HD5770', you can see in 'Notshy Guide'
that it got really good GPU Benchmarks ... around +/- 31 FPS instead of the HD5870 with this guide ...

1080p is a pretty small monitor by today's standards. I run a Dell 27" at 2560x1440. From what I can gather, many people with 27" or 30" monitors are having issues with r700.

Yeah, but an 27" or 30" monitor is very expensive by today's standards :)
