Hi all,

I used MSR dumper to check for P-states after upgrading to Mountain Lion. I put msr dumper into HD>USERS>USERNAME.

I used instructions described here:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/lion-desk...peedstep-sandy-bridge-cpus-using-msrdump.html

I check and the unloaded the kext and it stopped displaying results in Console. However everytime I now boot up, MSR Dumper is working away and I have to run the same instruction in Terminal to unload the kext. Any suggestions?

Yes, if it is stuck then go into SLE, select the kext and drag it to trash. Then rebuild the caches with Kext Wizard or similar. It should then be gone properly from SLE.
Don't know what went wrong for you, but it looks like somehow it got installed into SLE instead of just temporarily being loaded.
