This Motherboard, the Z77A-G45 to be exact, was featured by Tonymac as a new, affordable thunderbolt motherboard. Its Z77, so it dosent need a DSDT,(and should work well, but I could not find many builds that reports its findings! So, not needing thunderbolt, but would like to have it just in case; would this be a better choice than the GA Z77X UD5H ($180 USD) while the the thunderbolt one is $169?
Here's the product link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130665&name=Intel-Motherboards

Thanks!

Biggest difference is that the MSI board needs NullCPUPM or a patched BIOS for native power management in OS X. Given that, it would probably be the more economical choice.

Thanks! Could you point me in the direction of BIOS patching and NullCPUPM? I'm not too sure what that is. :)

Thanks! But, I am going to stay with the UD5H.
