Hi,

I have the MSI X79A-GD45 (8D) LGA 2011 with a 3930k processor. I have the nvidia GT 640 graphics card. When I try to install Mountain Lion, even with graphicsenabler turned off and safe mode, it still boots to the Apple screen and then the monitor turns off and eventually the computer just turns off or restarts. I had a different system before and everything worked wonderfully, but this new system I can't even get Moutain Lion to install.

Any ideas what I can try?

Did you try npci=x2000?

Hi thanks for your reply. Yea I tried that plus graphicsenabler=no and everything works perfectly! The only driver I had to install was for the sound which I just used a VooDoo one which always seems to work.

Well I can't say everything works perfectly. The only thing that doesn't work is iMessage. App store and facetime work tho, its weird.
