plz suggest me a proper boot cd or give me the steps what has to be done

if i restart, n put the i boot cd, it shows iboot n doesnt show anything else

I have almost same setup..and it WORKS!

I used ATI-2 final (with IDE support, because I just have that DVD-RW)...so it was my only option.

First, check your BIOS settings....nothing OC (load optimized defaults), set AHCI on ICH9, and disable other controller (if you have...I have two extra Jmicron SATA ports).
Hdd must be on SATA of intel chipset (ICH9)! HPET should be Enabled!

1. Boot with ATI-2 iBoot...wait until finished mouting, and chamelon start
2. switch disk to SL installation disk (I buy REATIL and it's on DoubleLayer DVD)...wait until load (maybe 10-20 sec)
3. Hit F5 and wait (about 15-20sec)...then, type busratio=21 and select that NEW ICON (os X Install DVD)...not iBoot cd
4. Then everything should be fine, and SL installer should shown in 5-10min

DO that....and I will help you with rest of customizing....if you able to install

i have st to AHCI in bios n also HPET enabled

I booted using i boot, pressed F5, used -x and installed mac

later in disk utility i formated to mac os extended journal

and installed mac
in customization i unchecked printer

proceed with installation

it will show 15mins and later show MAC OS X could not be installed on your computer.

The installer could not copy the necessarly support files

click restart to restart

if i restart n put iboot, it won show anything except iboot disc

what shall i do

it will show
20 minutes left
later
19 minutes
later
18 minutes

and soon it shows

MAC OS X could not be installed on your computer.

The installer could not copy the necessarly support files

click restart to restart

i used iboot cd also.......
OS is nt getting install even half way

Do you have computer sleep and EIST (speedstep) working on your setup? Sleep works, but won't wake up on mine. When running in 32-bit mode MSR Tools shows that EIST is not working also.

Sleep, restart and shoutdown is working fine, probably and EIST (I dont know how to check in 64-bit). I used userDSDT method...and dsdt.aml file from some Poland forum. I can find it for you if you need it.
