@RehabMan
Hi,
I am helping someone install osx High Sierra on his laptop.. his laptop has an Intel i7-7820hk based processor with Intel HD630 iGPU and Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card. As I understand the laptop has an eDP lcd and a discrete graphics card.
Thus far either a single display (internal lcd) alone is working (Intel HD630) OR only external (accelerated) monitor working but with nvidia webdrivers. The goal is to at least have the internal monitor driving from the GTX 1070. Is this even possible? I did came across a post to make them work together as dual monitor solution.
The bios has NO feature to turn off iGPU or discrete, but has a software controlled button to switch which only works with the nvidia software.
Some clarification would be helpful.
