Hello lovely forum,

I wanted to start my first trial on a hackintosh build, and everything went perfect for me with high sierra , the only matter was my Gpu which is MSI Rx 580 8gb, it works fine in term of booting, watching videos, etc , but when i start editing in final cut pro x , every time i try to render and export the project , the final project exported ,contains a lot of glitches which means a total missed up video .

the second issue : About this mac is showing R9 xxx 8gb , Any solutions lovely people ?????

yes sir, but i had the same glitches ,when i disable the igpu its getting a little bit better, but it crashes very quickly

Did you get this resolved? I just ordered a MSI Armour RX 580 for FCPX. Also a side question, can you run your display at 1440p HiDPI? What kind of display do you use?

This is not because of AMD card, it is because wrong IGPU setup. I have a solution for 4790K processor if someone need it.

I have a 4790K CPU. What's your solution? Would the solution work for all RX 580 video cards?

Does the AMD driver require an iGPU? I'm using a Xeon with a Gigabyte RX560 GPU, and any driver after 10.13.6 crashes on boot. I'm considering ordering one of the recommended RX580 cards, but don't want to waste my money on another card with the same issue.

Hei, I see that you got and MSI RX580 Armor, does it post video signal to all 4 ports (HDMI and DP)? I want to build a customac but its necesary to me to use 4 display monitor. Thank you!
