Mouse moving faster vertically then horizontal

Like the title said, my mouse (both touchpad and all computer mouses i connect) moves faster vertical than horizontal. Anyone experienced it, or know how to fix this? I run a Hackintosh ProBook 4340s with OSX 10.9.5

I'm surprised that I'm the only person who has noticed this problem. A friend has the same problem on same type of laptop.

It is a known issue with the trackpad on the ProBook/EliteBook (due to the higher resolution in horizontal vs. vertical), but the mouse would be something specific to the mouse you have.
