Hi I'm new into Hackintoshing,

I have a Lenovo W530, and I bought a new hard drive just for Mountain Lion.
These are some of my specifications:

Intel Core i7 3720QM @ 2.60GHz, 8 CPUs, 4 Cores
NVIDIA Quadro K100M
WD Scorpio Black 750GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s
Physical Memory 4GB
Intel Ivy Bridge

Do you think it will be okay to install Mountain Lion on it?
I appreciate your help!!

Yes. Search for my guides on installing on the W520. Should be mostly the same; there's a German dude who prepared all of the drivers.

DSDT/BIOS issues may be slightly different. Also, with Win8 and UEFI support in Ubuntu, you may be able to use Clover to boot Mac via EFI instead of Chameleon/Chimera via BIOS. I haven't tried that yet.

You'll also need to get a hacked BIOS if you want to use a non-Intel and/or non-Lenovo-branded WIFI/WAN card. Other than that you should be good to go.

Google "nightalon W520" to find my how-to. Note the part about the ThinkPad thinking your system is set up with UEFI if there's an EFI partition on your drive...won't recognize your Windows install anymore, or Chameleon for that matter. You need to delete that partition using a Gparted DVD or another Linux LiveDVD.
