Mountain Lion Likely Launch Date: Wed, July 25th

According to Computer World, if Apple follows the same schedule from last July, Mountain Lion should launch in the Mac App Store on July 25th, 2012.

Computerworld - Apple will launch OS X Mountain Lion July 25 if it repeats what it did last year when it announced the then-new Lion a day after its quarterly earnings call with Wall Street analysts...

Last year at this time, Apple used a July 19, 2011 earnings call to announce the scheduled launch of OS X 10.7, aka Lion, for the next day.

May I just wait for Mountain Lion to come out or do I first have to purchase the current version of Lion (or Leopard) to get the $20 price?
