Dear Friends,

I am facing some serious problems installing Mountain Lion on my new PC. My PC configuration is given bellow.

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5 TH
Intel i5 3470
Nvidia 650 Ti

While trying to boot with unibeast [Which made from Unibeast 1.7.0 and OS X Mountain Lion Appstore 10.8.2].
PC is quickly restarting when it shows Apple logo.

I tried with -x -v also. But almost 20-30 seconds its showing console text like usual and suddenly restarting.

I have tries with PCIRootUID=0, npci=0x2000, npci=0x2000, GraphicsEnabler=No, etc. but same thing is happening.

OS X Lion also I cant install.

While trying to install lion, its stucks on apple logo.

I tried with -v -x. Then following warning is showing ,After that its freezing.

WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUtil : getCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a
-- power management may be incomplete or unsupported.

Almost all boot flags and bios setting I tried. But no change is happening.

I am struggling with this problem. Please help.

Dilip.

Dear Friends,

Finally I Fund solution myself.

My actual problem was while trying to Install ML[made with unibeast 1.7.0+ OS X 10.8.2] system is freezing on bellow point.

WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUtil : getCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a
-- power management may be incomplete or unsupported.

I started finding solution for above problem, I thought its issue with processor. But it was wrong. Actual problem was another.
Above line is only one warning. We can ignore it also.

Actually what happening is after this warning, next stage is loading graphics driver. But Mountain Lion 10.8.2 cant identify Nvidia 650 Ti [Asus Make].
Hence its freezing after warning.

I have removed my graphics card from my PC and restore bios with default setting.
Only one change I have made is disabling Vd-t from bios setting.

Connected my DVI monitor to my graphics port.

Normal Installation with unibeast and -v -x flags.
everything gone fine, Finally our same error shows

WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUtil : getCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a
-- power management may be incomplete or unsupported.

And suddenly went to OS X installation window.
As usual I installed without any problem, after I done multibeast post fixes and restarted.

System is booting without any problems, But no Graphics Card and no support for display resolution of Full HD.

I connected my GT 560Ti again and booted.

Its freezing on apple logo. Tried with -v -x.

Same thing happening.

WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUtil : getCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a
-- power management may be incomplete or unsupported.

And freezing...

???????????

Finally I realize Problem is with Graphics Card!.

After that again I remove graphics card and booted with on board DVI.
Then Applied 10.8.3 Update.

After this step I connected Graphics Card again and booted.( I used PCIRootUID=1) also.

Great surprise........

System booted normally with full graphics support!!!.
