What was necessary for me :
- Patch my award DSDT downloaded on this site, with the patch Award-BIOS-HD3000-6_series here : https://raw.github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_hd3000/master
- Remove GE=Yes in boot.plist
- Unplug headphones (without this, I could not select HDMI output in System Pref)

Quite easy finally

MB : GA-P67X-UD3-B3-F7 with Core i5 2500k
GC : AMD HD6870
Update from ML to Mavericks with Unibeast

Hello,

Just noticed I had no QE/CI. I tried several AtiConfig (Pithecia / Bulrushes / Duckweed / Gibba) but no changes. What should I do since I can't change GE to Yes since HDMI audio is working ? I'm not having any QE/CI too while using GE=Y.

VLC says that my mac does not support Quartz Extreme. The same message appears if I try GE=Y.

I'm not sure it's related to HDMI Audio.

It is not HDMI audio, it is HDMI video. You did not solve the framebuffer problem from Post #9.

The only dsdt edit is to inject a working framebuffer. dsdt edits cannot modify the configuration of the framebuffer. Revisit your framebuffer testing, a non working frambuffer does not cause a KP. If a framebufer doesn't work, the result is a black screen.
