Most Supported Laptop?

Hi,

Can someone tell me a entry level, mid range and high end laptop that would be the most supported i.e. everything would work, wouldn't need anything replaced etc

I'm fed up of buying chargers for my MacBook Air, that I'm now going to swap to a hackintosh.

There are no laptops that meet the requirements you specified ("everything...work", "wouldn't need anything replaced"), except for those from Apple.

So, just to clarify: on hackintosh laptops you'd need to replace certain hardware to get everything running smoothly?

Ahh, thats not too much of a big job I guess. Can any of you guys recommended well supported ones? without too many hardware changes etc? thanks.
