Most silent GTX 670 or 680

I have an Asus 6870 DirectCu in my CustoMac Mini Deluxe 2011:
Core i7-2700k
GA-H67N-USB3
2x 4Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz Low Profile
2x 128 Samsung 830
Corsair AX750
Bitfenix Prodigy Black
I play on 3 1908Fp 3840x1024.
I'm looking to upgrade because I play high end games which are installed on my second 830 128Gb with Windows 8.
I have been reading a lot but still I cannot choose.

So here it goes.
670 or 680? read about little difference in case of performance
2Gb or 4Gb? read about 256bit memory but with 4Gb doesn't make sense.
Most silent?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Most silent are the Asus DirectCU cards. Of course you will still notice them under full load. Maybe get a cheap 670/680 and put on it a Arctic cooling Twin Turbo II…
2GB should be enough, more is needed if you play in resolutions higher than 1080p und sth like Crysis 2 with high res texture mods.

My MSI GTX 670 PE OC is super quite. It's one of the reasons I bought the card, and I'm very pleased with the decision.
