Monterey to Sonoma update

Hello!

Can anybody help me to decide



1) whether I can update my build from Monterey 12.6.5 to Sonoma 14.2.1 directly using standard macOS sofrware update tool?



2) Or should I make a clear install instead?



Specs:

Core i9 10850k

Asus z490-a Prime

WD SN750

DDR4

I upgraded from Monterey 12.6.5 to Sonoma 14.2. No issues. Just make sure your open core is up to date before doing the install.

Mine worked fine as well. Gigabyte Z490 MB is so good for Hackintosh.
