try to see if the audio works from line-out. I think this is mostly the HDMI audio problem. My DP audio works, but never tried HDMI.

I have trying use DP but still no audio for my monitor. I also try to remove fakepciid on big sur also no audio for HDMI/DP .

Do you have the HDMI output for your monitor selected in System Preferences?

• System Preferences > Sound > Output (tab) > Scroll down and select HDMI.
