Last night I successfully installed High Sierra. The system was working fine, no kernel panic at all, but my monitor didn't wake after sleep. It showed only 'NO HDMI SIGNAL' but the fan and cpu were still working. Anyway, I never encountered any problem like this in Sierra (10.12.6), even in El Capitan.
I desperately tried all methods that I had came across on the internet (modifying Config.plist in Clover and changing SMBIOS). And I also updated NVIDIA web driver to latest version but that didn't help either.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Is this supposed to be software bugs? Let's discuss here.

I had this last night - I had to reboot, it just sat there, everything running, but no display. Then something happened to my disk, resulting in an i/O failure (weird) On Sierra previously, it would always wake, but took a few seconds more than my macbook pro.

Same here, nvidia user to. my thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-wake-problem-x79.233652/
Our gpus are almost the same (gtx 740 gtx750 ti), may nvidia drivers fail?
can u inspect your motherboard while the system wakes up for unusual behavior such a led blinking etc?

Attach Problem Reporting Files.

Post ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app

Also, press F4 at the main Clover screen, then compress and attach the EFI/CLOVER folder in use. And please, in order to reduce the size, omit EFI/Clover/themes.

In Clover v4223 there is now an option called hibernation fix. Maybe this fixes your issues... give it a try

Thank you!!! Alright, I'll try this method as soon as Tonymac release Mutibeast for High Sierra. I have rolled back to 10.12.6 because I use my hackintosh for work.

Updated:
@SirDaniel94 The sleep/wake problem is still around in 10.13.1
Nvidia Web Driver doesn't even help sleep issue either, Black screen from wakeup forever.

I've heard that new change in Apple USB driver is the cause of this problem. But my motherboard is so old and USB 2.0 supported, I followed instructions from this post by @RehabMan https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.173616/ but no success. And my CPU is Core2Duo, so I can't make custom SSDT (properly).

@Gwyn maybe you try the .kext HibernationFixup (v1.2.0 or v1.2.1).

Because of the age of your components, i would just update your configuration, you will get less problems then! :)
