Monitor wake (not Computer wake) Blank Screen

My hackintosh is set not to sleep. It's my server so I want it on all the time. The monitor is set to sleep after 15 mins. Now when I go to "Wake" the monitor, the monitor turns on but all I get is a blank blue-green screen that usually shows up on boot before the desktop pops up, and nothing ever appears.

I can still access it as a server and transfer files but can't access via Screen Sharing or LogMeIn. The only remedy is to force reboot with the reset button.

I'm at a loss. Has anyone had this problem and found a fix?

If I had to guess I would say it is an Nvidia problem, when I was using my HD5770 I had no sleep/ wake problems. Now with the GTX 560ti 448, sleep works but if I let the monitors go to sleep before the system I get the exact same problem you're describing. I couldn't figure out how to fix the problem so I just have my system sleep after a 1/2 hour and don't worry about it.

Would be interested to see if anyone has a solution to this though :/
