Monitor question

Will the LG Electronics IPS Digital Cinema 4K 4096x2160 Monitor 31MU97-B 31.0-Inch LED-Lit Monitor
work with my build? I am running an Nvidia card.

OS: El Capitan
Processor: i7 4ghz
Memory: 32g 1600Mhz DDR3
GPU: Geforce GTX 980Ti 6g

I have that monitor. It's incredible!

I have an older system running on Mavericks and a GTX 780, so I would assume it would work with newer systems very well.

Make sure to use Display Port and cables less than 15ft(I would recommend 6ft). I went through at least 7 separate DP cables after getting one that does full resolution at 10ft.

This may be my specific monitor, but I still can't get it to 60hz on OSX. It has a weird digital glitch every 10 minutes or so. Putting it down to 50hz works fine and it doesn't personally bother me. Works at 4k 60hz in windows no problem.

Hopefully you have better luck on the hz end, but otherwise it should work fine.
