HI, excuse me if I'm thick. I installed Mojave over my previous High Sierra install. I do not use an SSD, therefore the switch to APFS feels somewhat daunting.
Everything is fine except my Wifi card, which I believe is using Atheros, isn't showing up anymore.
I tried various fixes talked about, such as copying the AirportAtheros40.kext into S/L/E. Didn't work. DO I have to rebuild the kext cache first? If so how?
As a sidenote, the EFI Mounter refuses to mount what I believe is the startup disk, and kext wizard refused to install the kext (hard drive was greyed out). Something to do with my SIP setting?
Below are various info files I gathered... any help is much much appreciated.
