Hi all,

So I have this problem with my build where I'm trying to manually put my computer to sleep and what it does is the following:
- Takes 10-15 seconds before getting to sleep
- Stays asleep for 3-4 seconds
- Wakes up directly!

This behaviour has been driving me mad! I was able to figure out the issue was related to my Apple magic pad; if I disconnect it before putting my system to sleep, it won't wake up by itself after a few seconds. Bluetooth is provided by a usb adapter connect on my keyboard.

Now I can't be the only one with this issue? Do we really need to disconnect our Magic Mouse before getting it to sleep?

Anybody that had this issue and want to help me?

Thanks!

Bluetooth and wireless adapters often conflict with sleep.

That said, you might want to make sure you have mapped out your USB ports by creating either a custom kext or Ssdt.

Interresting, is there a guide somewhere to do this procedure?

Thank you for your comment!

Thank you so much Brebo!
