*** Update - Switched to OSX Catalina - Works OOB now ***
Hi All,
I'm been struggling to get this Power Color RX580 Red Devil GPU to work and detect properly on a clean Mojave install. (Version 14.1)
OOB it will hang on black screen
If I set the FakeID to a generic AMD one: 0x67411002 it boots up
If I set the FakeID to the correct AMD one: 06df1002 it hangs
One thing I noticed in the compatibility list is my GPU port layouts are different ( 1 DVI, 3DP, 1 HDMI)
I tried connecting with HDMI, With DV-I and with DP
I tried combinations of RadDeInit, InjectATI etc
I tried with Lily and WhatEverGreen latest release
The only thing I can think of that might cause an issue is the different port layouts vs standard RX580
Specs:
16GB RAM
Asus H81M-D
Intel I7-4770
250 SSD Evo
RX 580 8GB Power Color Red Devil
