Had a hell of a time getting the OS installed on the laptop but got there in the end.

I'm using the correct plist (HD 5500) as per guide by RehabMan. Unable to get audio, graphics or networking to work. Had to use a wifi dongle to create PR files. They are attached.

Can someone take a look and let me know where I have gone wrong? Thanks.

I'm still stuck without native graphics and have tried ig-platform ids 0x16160000, 0x16160002, 0x16160006 etc...... any help appreciated.
maybe this will help:

and/or:
Hackintool:

Thanks for that. My BIOS doesn't have the option to edit the DVMT, will that matter?

maybe but i think you can add that part to your config.plist using the hackintool software

Ok as far as I can tell Whatevergreen & Lilu sort out the DVMT part, I still can't get the graphics to work correctly I must be missing something obvious... the only ig-platform id that will work is 0x16160006 yet still no proper graphics :banghead:

you may need to enable this:
Code:
<string>some HD5500 need this, such as i3-5005U; enable as required</string>
                <key>#device-id</key>
                <data>JhYAAA==</data>

I've added 0x26160000 as the fake ID but still have the same result.
<key>#device-id</key>
<data>JhYAAA==</data>
