Hi,
my Setup:
MoBo: ASUS Prime Z390-P
CPU: INTEL i5-9600K
GPU: AMD RX470
Mojave: 10.14.6

Problem: I was trying to upgrade to Catalina. Before all works like a charm.
But Upgrade was stuck because of Lilu and WhateverGreen. I have no other Hack or real Mack so i restore from Time Machine Backup. And restore my Clover Config taken right before trying to upgrade.

But now after restore all works fine again instead of when i try to shutdown or reboot. System freeze and i have to hard reset it or push power button.

Tried a ton of things and nothing solved.
So my last hope is to get here some help. :)

Find attached my Clover folder and my config.plist.

Any suggestion is welcome. :)

kind regards,
freeapp

VirtualSMC and FakeSMC should not be used together

this doesn't look right in your config.plist:
Code:
<dict>
                <key>Comment</key>
                <string>10.10.2+-BT4LE-Handoff-Hotspot-Dokterdok</string>
                <key>Disabled</key>
                <true/>
                <key>Find</key>
                <data>SIXAdFwPt0g=</data>
                <key>InfoPlistPatch</key>
                <false/>
                <key>MatchOS</key>
                <string>10.10.2,10.10.3,10.10.4,10.10.5</string>
                <key>Name</key>
                <string>com.apple.iokit.IOBluetoothFamily
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<string>com.apple.iokit.IOBluetoothFamily</string>
</plist>
</string>
                <key>Replace</key>
                <data>Qb4PAAAA61k=</data>
            </dict>
            <dict>
not sure what tap.kext and tun.kext do?

you want to do this as well:

Hi @Feartech,
thanks a lot.
I'm so stupid.
Like written before, i have tested so many things that i don't saw this.
Removed all FakeSMC kexts and voila it works like a charm again.
I'm still missing one USB Port but i don't care about that.

you will need to follow the usb setup guide to setup your ports properly, this will also sort out other issues you may encounter and also have a better system running

Hi,
seems the port i miss is defekt. Is on chassis. And Hackintool is "blinking" the port if i put a USB-Stick in. All other Ports are running. And if i put the Stick in another Port it works. It is USB 2.0 so as written before i don't care. Most important is that all USB 3 Ports are running. :)

I think this could be set to solved.
Should i edit the title?
