Hi guys, I have a problem that I can not understand.
I have an asrock H87 pro4, i7 4690k, samsung 860 evo, bootloader on usb (I never managed to transfer it to ssd), and I replaced a gtx970 with a Vega56 to be able to switch to mojave.
With high sierra everything works properly (vega56 recognized natively). The first problems arose when upgrading to Mojave. Here while the bar with the apple was charging, the monitor went off as if a sleep was activated.
After many attempts, I tried to insert my old gtx970, so doing the installation did not have any hitches, but obviously I had no graphics acceleration.
I then tried to insert the vega56 and I found the same problem with the monitor that goes off during startup.
Doing so many attempts to reeboot forced only 10% of the time I was able to start properly Mojave, and only in cases where when turning on the PC appear these quick writing (see photo).
In summary: with GTX970 no start up problems. With Vega56 9 times out of 10, the pc falls asleep showing some pixel images (such as interference), 1 time out of 10 if they appear written before the start of clover, everything works correctly.

what kexts are you using? make sure you have removed everything concerning to the nvidia graphics card from you config.
I will check, but with my backup ssd, high sierra works perfectly; with identical configuration.
Maybe I have to change something in config.plist?
