You're not injecting a layout-id.
You have it commented/disabled in config.plist/Devices/Properties (#layout-id).

Thanks. Can I change this in clover configurator? Just remove the hash tag in the field on the bottom right then play with the I'd number till it works?

I don't recommend Clover Configurator.
Best to use Xcode or PlistEdit Pro.

Your choice. It is unrelated to layout-id injection.

I've tried
1) changing in plist editor pro , devices > Audio > inject. I changed to Boolean and set to yes. I turned reset hda off. Didn't work.

2) tried looking directly at the script in plist editor (attached) and didn't see any commented out audio inject.

2) tried following this guide you made. But when I open fbpatcher nothing appears under layout id. I also am not sure I did the HDEF patch properly earlier in the guide.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.
