Hi everybody.
I have a question about converting the G5 iMac's iSight module I got off ebay to USB.
I managed to do the same with Macbook's bluetooth module, but the voltage is the thing concerning me.
In BT module case, I had to convert 5V from USB to 3.3V so it wouldn't fry the module.
I plan to cut off the weird Apple connector off this iSight module I have, there are 4 wires (black, green, white and red) that will be soldered onto an USB cable. I guess these are the standard USB wire colors so I just need to know what voltage to use. Full 5V from USB or I have to reduce it.
Thanks in advance!
