ML Installed but cannot boot into it

Setup:

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3
i7 2600K Sandybridge 3.4ghz
Sparkle Nvidia 9500GT

I am getting what you see in the image below; "CPU 7 has no HPET assigned to it"



HPET is set to 64bit in the BIOS. Cstates and EIST are enabled not "auto"

I've got the latest unibeast installed on my USB stick which I am using to boot - when I made it I chose the EasyBeast method, thinking I could place my DSDT for my motherboard at a later date - similar to what the main guide suggests.

Thoughts on how I can get past this?

I have put the DSDT for my motherboard into /Extras ... no difference. BTW, I don't have access to a working Mac just now; so I am using Macdrive on my Windows 8 laptop to deploy files.

Okay... I changed the version of FakeSMC to another one I found online, and put the dsdt.aml file in /Extras and re-installed from the USB stick. Now... I get a list:

AppleACPICPU: ProcessorID=0 LocalApicId=0 Enabled
AppleACPICPU: ProcessorID=1 LocalApicId=2 Enabled
AppleACPICPU: ProcessorID=2 LocalApicId=4 Enabled
etc...

So I think the power management stuff is fixed - I think.

But now I get to USBMSC Identifier.... and then it just hangs on 'waiting for root device'.... ideas??
