After installation of mountain lion noticed stuttering when dragging windows (no, not window(tm)) across the desktop.
But only on displays connected via display port, dvi connected displays worked smoothly.
Even with two displays connected to one machine- one by display port, one by dvi - only the one at the display port showed that behaviour.
I could confirm that this stuttering stops when deleting ML´s current versions (8.0.51) of ATI5000Controller, ATIFramebuffer and ATISupport kexts and replacing them by Lion´s version (7.18.18).
Don´t know if there´s a more elegant way to work around...
