hello all,

this is my first attempt to install a hackintosh.
I'm waiting for the components to arrive, i ordered:
Gigabyte H77N-WiFi
i3 3225
8Gb Corsair stick
Thermaltake Element Q case http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product.aspx?s=1321&id=1896

i have two old 320Gb 2.5 sata drives (WD3200BEVT) and i was wondering if it is possible to install OS X on the RAID0 array created on the motherboard, or is there another way to do it.
I can live with just one drive, but it would be fun to do it.

My main goal is to make a htpc just to run XBMC and some youtube watching on my 42" LCD TV. (maybe some games, like angry birds and stuff :) )

Also what GFX card would you recommend for this build, if i would need one in the future, with as little or no configuration needed? (the case has a 200W SFX PSU (i can upgrade to 350W if needed, http://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply/47 ) and only one slot for the GFX card).
Just a side note, I created the UniBeast USB install in VMWare running 10.8.2. (installed lion, then bought 10.8.2 in the app store).

thanks
kroff

Personally, I thnkk it unwise to use a RAID0 setup for a boot drive. You are just asking for trouble. But if you just gotta, just to prove you can, then see http://aquamac.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=hack1&thread=613&page=1
