I was just looking at prices for bare bone mini AMD PCs, prices for the 5700U can now be found for under $200 on everyones favorite Chinese trading platform, free delivery too. The 4700U GenMachine is a good price, I'd be happy with that, Ventura runs really well on these mini APUs.

They're on eBay now!. My favorite 5700U from Ayaneo is now being sold on eBay, with options such as bare-bone or non bare-bone flavors. The retro Mac Design with customization options for stickers and buttons is one for the enthusiast.

Information regarding motherboards for these mini AMD systems is extremely scarce. What we do know from visiting TPU earlier is that the socket is called FP6, ASUS & Sapphire Technology seem to be big in this area but their product pages only show similar, but not exact designs to my GENMachine. Google'ing FP6 did return this result from SCRIBD, the AMD FP6 motherboard design guide, dated January 2020. A year before the release of the 5700U.
