Hi, I'm looking to build my own AirPort card (my Dink DWA-556 sucks, I think it's interfering with Bluetooth, which is making my MM go all wrong). So, anyways, I'm looking for a card to put into a Mini PCIe adapter, that MUST be 5GHz capable (so that I can use that to not interfere w/ Bluetooth on 2.4GHz) and if possible, Bluetooth integrated, so that I have no doubts about interference or compatibility.
What I've found out so far:
BCM94322MC & BCM94321MC are known to work, are capable of 5GHz @ 300Mb/s
There are a bunch of 2.4/5GHz chips on http://www.broadcom.com/products/applications/Access-Points, but I don't know which ones would work (ie, which ones Apple has drivers for).
Here is Broadcom's list of "Combo Solutions": http://www.broadcom.com/products/combo.php. I'm particularly interested in the BCM943224HMB, but it seems to be unavailable.
Thanks in advance for ANY info on these cards, or other recommendations.
