Microphone and Camera

What do people typically use for cameras and mics on their Hackintoshs? (i.e. compared to built-in on iMacs and Mac Books, etc.)

In my hack there is a Logitech C930 webcam installed via USB. It works out of the box.
The Logitech C920 webcam should also work flawlessly.

The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 (1080p, Native Microphone) is listed in the tonymacx86 Buyer's Guide, Accessories section.

I use the old Apple iSight camera (Firewire) of which I have several for both my Macs and hacks. I only recommend the iSight if plan to use it only with macOS as it's not supported natively on Windows; there is probably a driver in Apple's Bootcamp, but I don't use windows so I haven't tested it in Windows.

I also use a Logitech C920. I still have my old, old iSight but I really liked the improved resolution of the C920.
