Hello all, first time posting here for my first build. I have been looking through relevant solutions but none of them have helped solve my current situation.
After attempting to install AppleHD, normal audio through my monitors' speakers work fine. However, when i use a headset (which is my preferred way of listening), the system picks up my headset audio and plays it back to me through the headset audio, despite having no recording or playback software open. This does not work if i pull out the 3.5mm audio jack to my microphone port as that cuts off the audio in my headphones as well. If someone could point me in the correct direction on how i might fix this issue, i would greatly appreciate it! Would provide details if asked for.
