Mic not working on open-core

Hello, I have a Dell Latitude 3510 and installed Mac OS Big Sur through open-core and it works pretty much perfectly. The only issue is my wifi card didn't work, but I bought a wifi adapter and installed a kext for it online and it works great now. Everything works pretty much perfectly. I had issues with the audio but that was fixed by trial-and-erroring the alcid channels that I believe go up to 99 or 100 in my config.plist.

I've pretty much thrown in the towel for trying to get my mic working. My audio works perfectly with tons of channels for the audio but my mic never works. I was wondering if a USB microphone will work? And possibly a USB webcam without any kext setup or complications? I'd really like to use this as my main workspace, the only thing holding me back is the microphone not working.

Yes, both the USB Microphone and Webcam will work. As long as you have created a custom USB configuration for your system. See this guide by UtterDisbelief for instructions.
