Gentlemen, I was going through my setting and I noticed that only one ram chip is recognized as DDR3, and the other is not... Also it is only showing at 1333mhz, although i have set the multiplier to = 1600mhz i will double check to see if those setting are still correct. But will this cause any problems for my system?

Update: Memory is showing Correct @ 1600mhz but the other is still not recognized as DDR3.

I have same issue, however it fixes itself automatically if you install 2 more sticks. I would not loose sleep on this one, all of my builds react the same way...

Here's the before and after : all I did is add two more memory sticks...period !

Bobcat cudos to you my friend you seem to have an answer for everything!

I think it's because the ram is next to eachother. If you have 2 sticks of ram put them in the in the slots that are the same color not next to eachother.

Like:
Slot 1: empty
Slot 2: 4GB
Slot 3: empty
Slot 4: 4GB

Has nothing to do with next to each other, I always install RAM as per slot # in manual and it shows to skip slots and use same color...

My ram is installed power color, not next to each other, ill have to get two more chips and see what happens :D
