Hi guys,

I have 4X2GB=8GB of RAM installed, and recognized in System Profiler, but in the Activity Monitor, only 4GB is showing up. In addition, if I try to virtualize Windows 7 with VMWare, and try to allocate 4GB of memory to it, it won't let me.

Any suggestions?

I'm running in a 32 bit kernel. Should I try 64 bit?

Bah, now I remember why I'm not running in a 64-bit kernel. Can't seem to boot no matter how many different combinations of arch=x86_64, ge=no, ge=yes, npci=0x2000, etc. I try.

I'll keep working on it. Thanks for the reminder about 64-bit and >4GB memory.
