hi there, i'm trying to do my first hackintosh without any luck... my sistem is:

i5 2500k
gigabyte z68xp ud5
8gb corsair vengeance lp 1600mhz
msi gtx560ti tf2
ax850
wd caviar green 1.5tb
ocz agility 3 60gb
seagate barracuda 750gb

well i changed my bios setting switching to AHCI, htpe to 64bit, and s3 susp... also used to select first boot from cdrom. Unplugged every USB except of my G15 and Mx Revolution, also used only 1x4gb of ram instead of 2x4. Unplugged all the sata disk, except of DVD Drive and barracuda (wich have a partition where i would install osx). I also tried of use a new sata hdd but i get that error after hitting F5 on iBoot

Memory allocation error! Addr=0xdeabeef, Size=0x0, File=hfs.c, Line=743
This is a non recoverable error! System HALTED!

i tried to boot with GraphicsEnabler=No but also the same error comes.

Can someone help me pls? is there any modded bios for my motherboard?

Thank you

I believe the problem is related to your video card. As far as I know the GTX560 Ti is not supported under Snow Leopard. It may work under Lion but I am not sure.

what if i install snow leopard with an ati 4850 then switch to 560ti when i upgrade to lion? should it work?

i've tried with the Intel HD3000 GPU too... same error

I think that problem is not with video card. I get this error only when i connect my 2tb external hd. Otherwise it works fine. I have 8800gs card.

What versions of Iboot and multibeast do you have - as you mentioned iBoot 3.2 - current download is 3.3

as you using the other video card - yes you may get results with that - but for some reason Apple didnt put older ati video kexts on the osx dvd
You should read this
http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=1 ... 8c1a137572

There are files you can download - now these were required w users installing 10.6.3 - if you have 10.6.0/2 as your baseline and this is still a problem they these are not used untill you get your apple desktop up and running

Suggest you change the order of the dvd and harddisk - hd should be on sata port 1 dvd should be on sata port 4 these are the intel ports not the gigabyte

Also as a precaution you should rotate out the dimm in the first dimm slot as you could have a flakey one.

then once you press f5 to get iboot to rescan - do see the apple dvd
then press the spacebar to enter the boot option screen.
certain flags to use are -v -f acpi=off cpus=1 etc see documtent below for clarity.

Also are you using the dsdt file from tonys website.
Also please update you profile to reflect the current build you are seeking help on.
or add it to you signature - include all info
