Memory actually identify
I observed one thing, the only time my memory has actually been identified (I own 2 x 2 GB Corsair 2000MHz DDR3) In The About Mac.
Voila_Capture3.png
is when I starter with the cd LegacyBoot,
but starter with the boot on HDD, my memory has a value of DDR2 800Mhz ...
can be Tonymacx86 or another person to an idea. :?: :?: :?:

:banghead: Model Identifier: MacPro3, 1
but still 800Mhz DDR2 ram

Hi,

Same problem here :beachball:
Could you solve it ?

Thanks in advance !

Ok - I answer myself.

I have installed "About this mac" package to have the processor recognized properly and then added :
<key>SMmemtype</key>
<string>24</string>
<key>SMmemspeed</key>
<string>1333</string>

in /Extra/smbios.plist.

Now "About this mac" window shows everything as expected.

Thanks to kooman (his topic viewtopic.php?f=79&t=13031)
