Maximus xi built in WiFi swap

Hello, I bought a bcm94360ng and swapped it with my onboard card that’s on my Maximus xi hero. It won’t detect WiFi or Bluetooth. Did I get the wrong one? Or could I use an adapter? I have read somewhere that it has to do with intel’s new technology. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I don't thunk so, did you say 4360NG? The adapter you show is for a bcm94360cs which is an Apple Card.




The ng card is already in m.2 ngff config.

Yes the picture above Top card is a m.2 NGFF on top it should fit in the m.2 motherboard socket without an adapter. The adapter you listed is for the Apple BCM94360cs which is smaller than the ngff card. The bottom picture is the Apple Card in a mini pcie adapter. You can see it’s smaller than the 94360ng card.

If you have a PCIe slot that is not used they have PCIe adapter cards.
