Ciao Flicka,

finally I had the time to do couple tests.

I have installed the updated HDA kext. The sound bar is here however no sound from the hdmi.

I have choosed all the output configurations and no sound at all.

tried both dsdt. both of them work similiar.

notes: after kext install booting the OSX takes probably nearly 5 minutes instead of 45 sec.

thanks

Forgot to mention, im using a full hd samsung tv (hdmi) and my regular monitor (DVI). the system predefine the TV as main screen.

here you have a double print screen. might be helpfull big boss :p

Screen Shot 2015-01-10 at 00.05.15.jpg

I don´t know if this is helpfull or not.. tried the hdmi in 2 different full hd tv. the image is always bigger then the screen. i´m not able to see the little apple logo in the upper left side also the dock is almost fully hidden. thanks

1) Front audio is always been an issue for me too. I think that it is related on the front panel build in the case, because on the same build of a friend of mine it is working. Have you tried different settings in your bios?
2) I've working audio in yosemite, patching the original AppleHDA. At first I thought too that it did not work, but then I relized that you have to reconfigure it manually, selecting the right output. If you are used to control if it is working hitting the volume key, you must enable the feature in system preferences / sound / sound effects, or you hear nothing.

what?

i think i need ground up know hon this information. assuming i know nothing. i tired that patcher and nothing no sound. a few things to note i never had the original applehda due to installing hdadisabler off the bat, so i use this one,

secondly when i rebooted i deleted said hda since it didn't work, then found another hda on desktop unsure if it is the patched one or the back up so installed, i'm about to reboot again and see if worked.

thirdly i have P5E3 Deluxe which is related cousin with the same sound chipset.

4thly whats this thing is system sounds that has to be adjusted? and what this about volume keys that need pressed? what do you mean be reconfiguring manual? also WHAT is being reconfigured manually?

fifth, pretend im an idol because i probably am.

sixth, as some one who has setup several working hackintoshes before, what in the world am i doing and or doing wrong?

seventh i got this ad1988b 7.1 kext that works but, only after the first reboot, others have the same issue but, i wonder if it's because i dropped the kext in S/L/E my self in instead of putting the kext on the desktop and using a kext installer?

Man i'm boot loader and sound driver way from a near golden setup.

EDIT: oh yeah i have an EVGA GTX770 4gb with HDMI. i don't have any hdmi sound devices atm.

EDIT: this is the kext i used since i don't have my original applehda,

Have you the latest version of Mavericks 10.9.5 installed?
5 minutes to boot are too much. There is something wrong.
Prerequisite; all kext in S/L/E. Be sure you have no Extra folder on the root of the disk, should it be the case remove it (or move it in another place). Reinstall the kext with kext wizard, repair permission with "Disk Utility", rebuild cache with kext wizard, use DSDT Layout1 and reboot.
Be sure to perform every step
Have you tried to plug a device (Speaker, headphones)on the green output selecting "internal speaker" as output in "System Preferences/Audio"?
How did you test if audio is working? I suggest to play a youtube video.
You can not have internal and HDMI audio working together, either one or the other. If you see the volume icon in black, as I see in your images, you are using internal audio. For HDMI you have first to chose it in "System Preferences/Audio" and the volume icon should be grayed out (Another method is is to press "Alt" and perform a right mouse click on the volme icon). OSX don't provide controls for HDMI/Digital output, you have to adjust your volume with the remote control of the TV.
I need to know the content of your S/L/E folder. Navigate to the folder, Select all and copy, open "TextEdit" and in "Composition" perform "Paste and Match Style", save the file and post it.
For the video format you have to try to set the right preferences in "System Preferences/Monitor" (See image), but it is possible you have to adjust something in your TV preferences

First - This is a guide for the P5K-E WiFi, you can not pretend it is working for your MB. In every case the audio patch is working only if you have a properly patched DSDT and only if applied on a original AppleHDA

Second - If you pay attention on what you do, you will see that HDAWizard is saving a copy of the old AppleHDA on the desktop, so yes this is the one previous installed.

Third - see First

Fourth - If you are installing Yosemite, you have to chose in "System Preferences/Audio" the right output for your system.

Fifth - I don't understand what you mean

Sixth - No idea, you give not enough info to determine it.

Seventh - Really strange for "one who has setup several working hackintoshes before" not to know that a kext should be installed not copied. Take a hint on the previous post.

Eighth - No hint of what bootloader you are using and version of OSX

Hi Flicka,

yes, 10.9.5!

The Onboard Audio is working fine. it just don´t work with the Tv´s via hdmi.

To be exact it´s not 5 minutes loading the OSX is really 2.45 mnts. Before the HDA install was only 45sec.
Also, after apple white screen it stays a lot of time with a blank screen with the mouse arrow. then the grey mavericks password screen comes up and im not to type in the pass for probably next 20 sec.

Here u have the S/L/E:

Two things;
First you are using "NullCPUPowerManagement.kext", there is a reason? If not delete it, it is possible it is interferring, and try to boot.
Second, it is possible that the integrated audio is conflicting with your external interface. If you can, try to boot with the interface unplugged.
When you try HDMI audio you see the device in System preferences/Audio? Something like the attached picture. ( Note that You can see it only if it is plugged and that you have to select it as output to hear something)
In every case use the configuration that suite your needs.

Hi Flicka,

when the Tv is on, there is nothing to choose as the image u have posted furthermore, i´ve erased the HDA kext from the SLE and the boot time is normal again. i´ve always test with my external audio interface turmed off. dont u think might be the two kext in conflict onboard audio and and the external audio kext ?

thanks

I've no idea what external audio You are using and what You need to keep it working. Give me more detailled info (exact device and kext tuo are using). It is possible that they are confictling. Have You deleted nullcpu? You have no powermanagement with it, cpu always At max speed.
