I've been trying to get to the installer for a while - trying tons of boot flags and the monitor goes black before the installer.

Hi there, I managed to get my P55-UD5 running ok. Try downloading the DSDT for your board from this site, helped me a lot with getting Mavericks to play nice. My own DSDT that I've been using since 10.5 did not work well with mavericks!

If you're already running hackintosh then use your current smbios and have a care about the kexts that you may need.

I'm using Maverick on GA-P55A-UD3 with success and all working using this configuration:

- User DSDT
- Audio driver - with DSDT Realtek ALC888 v100202 Legacy
- Network driver - Realtek LnX2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx v0.0.90
- Bootloader - Chimera v2.2.1
- Fake SMC v5.3.820 and plugins
- System definitions - Mac Pro 4,1
- 3rd party SATA
My system uses an ATIRADEON 5770

Do you have to do anything extra to get the Radeon 57xx to work with full QE/CI ? or does it just work out of the box ? thanks.
