[SOLVED] Mavericks - DVD Player Error 70014

Hey there,

i migrated to Mavericks lately and hand no real issues to the day I inserted a DVD to my LG DVD player/writer. I got the error code 70014 and did some research on it, but the only fixes I found where those for Mountain Lion. Since I don't wanna screw up my whole system, I'd like to know if anyone else experienced this issue in Mavericks and if the Mountain Lion fix will do the trick in Mavericks as well. I tried one thing with a patched DVDPlayback.framework but it didn't help. Is there any solution for me?

Have the same error (70014) using Mavericks with DVD Player and LG Blu-ray Combo Writer and a Samsung DVD writer. It is not the same type of error as seen in previous posts (70012) so those fixes are not the cure. If I come across a fix, I'll be sure to post. Meanwhile, I'll just keep looking for a solution.
