Hi guys, I'm looking to build a portable tower for AfterEffects and 4k video editing.

There are a few concerns I have in regards to conflicting information for GPU compatibility. I see a lot of people using the newer nVidia GPUs.
This will be my first build so I would like the build to be relatively safe and simple to solve if I come across any issues.

Tell me what you guys think! One other concern is when I'm putting it together whether it'll all fit or not.

Where ? No one is using RTX cards with macOS in their CustoMacs. Only with Windows 10.

Hackintoshes are never simple and uncomplicated. Especially for a first attempt. This is why there are about a few million posts here with people seeking and giving out help to get macOS working on PC hardware. Not sure what your expectations are. You might need to adjust them. If you avoid X299 though, you have a better chance at achieving this. So Z390 is the better choice for you.
