Massive Use Of Ram

I have problem with the Hackintosh after the update

I have 8GB ram almost used it

when I install 4GB more

when nothing open or doing any things
ram usage show 5GB used

when run FCPX

it shows 10GB used


I have problem


this is making me crazy these days

Catalina does use quite a bit but yours seems excessive, how many sticks of ram installed and are they compatible and in the correct configuration slots maybe you have Memory leakage, check 'Activity Monitor' and see if there is any over the top usage. No reflection on your setup but when it comes to ram modules, I tend to buy them in sets with identical specs to try and eliminate compatibility issues.
