Hi All,

I'm sure this has been thought of before but, is it possible to just change the processor(s) out from a MacPro to a more up to date and faster processor(s)?

Technically yes, but you'd have to get one that's compatible and it's a bit of a chore to do

What do you mean by compatible? Are we talking about the socket or something else?

Socket, motherboard, VRM modules, Apple's EFI and so on. So you better check which CPUs work with the board before you just go out and randomly buy something.
